Same day Paypal withdrawal for verified programmers.

Ano Madadi il y a 12 ans mis à jour par Shaharuddin Saad il y a 12 ans 2
Verified programmers are already paying an additional $5 per month, assuming they keep their status for a year, that's an added $60 revenue per year for each verified programmer.

Yet, verified programmers who have worked for years on Scriptlance have to wait even more than 3 business days to get their money transferred to Paypal.

I think this is just Scriptlance not doing enough to keep programmers satisfied. If a user is already verified, why should it take so long to clear small amounts?

Streamlining the Escrow & Milestone Process ( Make it easier for Buyers )

Support Dept il y a 12 ans mis à jour il y a 12 ans 1
At the current time many buyers are finding it very confusing to associate payments to a milestone / escrow. They're always asking "How do i do that?"

Please consider making the deposit and milestone setup process much more simple for buyers. Like teaching kids A,B and C :)

Thank you

favorites buyers projects pages

Gaurav Kakkar il y a 12 ans mis à jour par mrfaruk il y a 12 ans 1
There should be a page on which we can see the projects posted by our favorites buyers only... or we should get notified when one of our favorite buyer posts a new project.

Buyer Have 7 days to review you

BizHat com il y a 12 ans mis à jour par galaxythestars il y a 12 ans 3
After i review buyer, it says

Buyer have 7 days to review you. If they fail to do this they will lose the ability to review you for this project.

If buyer is busy, he may not able to write a review for me. Some may not know how to post a review and it is not important for them to do so.

Change it to only show review if both party posted review. So there won't be any one sided reviews.

Set Percentage for min/max Bids Based on Budget

IDEASGirl il y a 12 ans mis à jour par mrfaruk il y a 12 ans 1
First of all, the minimum and maximum brackets for budget should be ALWAYS FLEXIBLE (to go up or down). I've convinced buyers to go farther with their bid to accomplish their plans and sometimes I've been able to bid lower that their budget because I think is what is worth for me at that time for that task I'm going to work on. Also brackets like $10-$200 have too much space in between and sometimes the $15 applies to that project because is a little change on a CSS of a color or something like that (which are great for new freelancers to get feedback).

My suggestion is that the minimum allowed should be a percent of the min/max. For example:

1-If a project's minimum is $100 and the percent set is 20%, then freelancers CAN'T bid below $80 (100 x .20=20 / $100 - $20 = $80); or over $120.

2-If a project's minimum is $1000 and the percent set is 10%, then freelancers CAN'T bid below $900 (1000 x .10=100 / $1000 - $100 = $900); or over $1200.

That will also avoid silly freelancers to bid $500 on a budget of $80. HEY! The buyer is not going to stretch their budget so much, so JUST DON'T BID and LET IT GO! Don't waste your time and buyer's. Don't bid for the sake of it.

Escrow Should be placed before awarding the project

nmans il y a 12 ans mis à jour il y a 12 ans 0
Often it happens like a buyer awards the project especially in small projects freelancers tend to work on the projects and then later when a note is sent to buyer to complete payments they do not reply i think it will be better if scriptlance puts a rule to place escrow for the project before awarding the selected bid from a programmer like if buyer wants to select programmer a and the bid is $300 then it should be necessary to have $300 in escrow before awarding the project

Suggestions are welcomed

ScriptLance should not hold escrow after milestone completion

Sol o il y a 12 ans mis à jour il y a 12 ans 0
I was working on a very big project with multiple milestones setup. The buyer was communicating well and completed some payments but half way through stopped responding.

Now the work is complete and no way to get the buyer to communicate with me or SL. The milestones have been marked as completed. Why is it SL policy to hold this money [over $500] in escrow?
I feel this is a cheap way for an otherwise very good platform to make money by not releasing cash when the buyer stops responding in the middle of a large project when all the work has been completed and proof submitted just because it is over 30 days old! Some projects take longer than expected as requirememnts change or bugs need fixing.

I suggest we go back to the old rule of waiting for 7-15 days for a buyers reply and if not complete the payment since the programmers has worked hard for it.
